Join us for our next adventure with Dressel Divers at Iberostar Cozumel!
Cozumel has all the ingredients for a great dive getaway – friendly locals, good food, lively nightspots, towering coral formations, warm water, great underwater visibility and white sandy beaches. Cozumel is famous among the diving community for its lush walls and high-voltage drifts. The reef system around the island is a part of the Mesoamerican reef system and is protected by the Cozumel Reefs National Marine Park. As such, it is extremely healthy for a Caribbean reef and is home to 26 coral species and more than 500 species of fish. In fact, February is a particularly good time of year for Bull Shark sightings.
Cozumel is suitable for all levels of diver. Due to the prevailing currents found in Cozumel, all boat dives are drift dives. Divemasters will lead every group of divers. The pace is generally very relaxed. When the currents are running stronger its easiest to go with the flow and let the current carry you over the reefs and through the passes.
Iberostar Cozumel is an all-inclusive resort with swimming pools, a spa, an extensive beach and on-site dive center. You can enjoy your favorite meal at either the international buffet or one of several themed restaraunts. Settle in after dinner for live entertainment nightly. Iberostar provides a family atmosphere suitable for both divers and non-divers. Enjoy a wide variety of additional diving and non-diving excursions.
